After five days of being sick, I was finally convinced to take drastic measures. Clearly, the medicines that I was taking the oral way were not helping. It was time to do it the intravenous way. Once again, don't think I was not scared...
ang sakitsakitsakit! i screamed bloody hell when they did that to me during my appendicitis scare. no, i wasn't 5 years old at the time. it was just last month.
Masakit nga. Pero ok lang :p. I have to do it again tomorrow so I guess that means another six chapters of Noli. You might find it interesting that I'm reading Noli. I didn't expect it to be funny, but it is! Galing ni Rizal!
syempre nagkasakit ka na't laht laht, la pa kong idea! ngayon lng! hehe sori..musta ka na? lagnat ba? sobrang lamig kc jan noh?!! balik ka na dito sa pinas!! miss k na namin! get well soon..
Oo nga e. Sabi ko kasi sa inyo dalasan ang pagbisita sa website ko! Tonsilitis yata yung una tapos lagnat din. Ubo, sipon, ganun. Mas ok na pakiramdam ko. Hay hirap. Miss ko na din kayo!
NaCl is really needed to refill your lost salts in your body.. actually it helps you to stabilize a bit.. :) don't you worry hindi ka aalat ng masayado.. :D hehehe j/k...
yikes! i didn't know you were THAT sick! did u have to stay at the hospital for long? and... you've never read noli in high school?? lucky you! haha! :p jing's a fan of noli though. :)
I wasn't really THAT sick. How sick is THAT sick, anyway? It is not uncommon for people here to get injections for colds and other similar illnesses. I wasn't confined or anything. I had to go to the clinic for three days, about 2-3 hours per session.
Somehow I managed to graduate without having read Noli. Besides, the required reading in high school was in Tagalog and you of all people would agree with me that that would just be too hard. I've actually counted how many times I should be ashamed for not having read it: 1. as a Filipino, 2. as a Lit major, 3. as a Lit teacher, 4. as a writer. So I'm quadruply (is that a word?) ashamed. I'm reading Guerrero's translation. Very readable. Loving it!
